Wooden Quilt

Wood is beautiful. Quilts are too. If you combine the two you get a great looking wall hanging. At least we did this time. Take a look at this 24 1/2 inch square wooden wall quilt. Different species of wood are used to get the different colors. The grain pattern of each piece makes for added detail. The woods used in this particular work of art are : mulberry, zebra wood, ash, purple heart, tulip poplar, red oak, walnut, and poplar. As you can see some of them are trees we find locally and some come from other places. Precision is key in quilting and the same is true here. Color, pattern, and fine craftsmanship combine in a piece you want to hang on your wall. Come bid on this one at the 2018 Northern Michigan Relief Sale Auction this August.
