Detroit Tigers Baseball – Prince Fielder

The Tigers have again donated a signed baseball to the NMRS. Recent donations have included balls signed by Ivan Rodriquez, Kenny Rodgers, and Johnny Damon. For 2012, we have a ball signed by Prince Fielder.
Fielder is in his first year with the Tigers, after several years with the Brewers. Fielder has been selected to the All-Star team and Home Run Derby competition several times, including 2012. He won the Home Run Derby competition in 2010, and we hope he repeats that feat this year as a Tiger!
Prince Fielder and his father, Cecil Fielder (a Detroit Tiger for many years), hold one of the unique records in baseball. They are the ONLY father-son combination to have both hit 50 home runs in a baseball season.

With his career accomplishments, Prince Fielder is a likely future Hall Of Famer once his playing days are over. This signed baseball will increase in value once that occurs. The baseball includes the MLB official hologram, which means this baseball is certified by and recorded in MLB memorabilia records.
The ball will be sold in the General Auction in the time between the morning and afternoon quilts. Come and secure a piece of Major League Baseball history.
