Almost Here

The time has almost come. This is the final week of preparation. Are you ready to Relief Sale?

The Northern Michigan Relief Sale is this Friday and Saturday, August 5th and 6th. The work of setting up begins today and continues on through Thursday. Buildings will be cleaned. The semi trailer will be unloaded. Canopies will be erected. Bleachers and tables will be moved into position. Set-up of each booth will commence this week. All manner of goods for sale and auction items will be transported. Campers will descend on the fairgrounds. A controlled frenzy of activity will be happening throughout the weekend.

Get ready and come to the Northern Michigan Relief Sale this weekend. Purchase great food and quilts and crafted items all to help those in need around the world. Our special emphasis this year, as you may have noticed from other news about the Sale, is Ukraine. The situation there is not good. That spreads the need for relief around the region as people are displaced and the farmers of Ukraine are unable to grow or distribute the food products they provide to the world.

You can do a small part to help by purchasing and donating. All proceeds of the sale go to MCC to help with situations around the world. This year some of the finds are designated to Ukraine in particular. Come! Have an enjoyable time and help others at the same time.
