First Loaf Reminder

This is just a reminder to not forget the First Loaf Challenge. This is a tribute to the traditional way we start each Northern Michigan Relief Sale Auction. That first loaf of bread is bid on, won, and re-donated to the sale to be bid on and won again. The total from that single loaf of freshly baked bread generally amounts to about $1500. This year with no auction and no loaf of bread we are trying to raise that money with donations to the tradition. You can donate through this website. When you donate designate it for the First Loaf Challenge. You can do this any time. All donations will help the Northern Michigan Relief Sale come closer to its usual level of support for MCC.

Another way you can help is through the online auction. It is open and continues through August 1. With all the trouble in the world, MCC can really use all the money we can raise for them. Help us meet the challenge.
