1957 Ford on Auction
Classic car buffs, lovers of old cars, Admirers of made in America products here is your chance. The Relief Sale Auction has a 1957 Ford Custom 300 with a 6 cylinder engine to offer you. This is a car you may have seen driving around Fairview. It is in good mechanical shape. The body is in very good condition as this car, though housed in northern Michigan, has never been run in the winter here. Thus it has not been subjected to the salt on the roads. It came here via Virginia and Florida. The odometer reads 20,317 at the time of this writing. Of course you must put a 1 in front of that number as the old style odometer has turned over once. The car was repainted 30 years ago, but it still looks really good. The chrome still shines as well. This car started out as black and white. Now it is more of a turquoise. The white interior is in very good shape. It was redone more than 30 years ago, but you would not be able to tell that by looking at it. The dashboard is all original. Side mirrors and antenna have been added.
Looking at it can transport you back in time. You kind of forget how things were. Like those little vents on the front windows. Remember how it felt to have those open on a hot sunny day? Be sure to inspect this little gem at the Relief Sale. Then bid on it and you could be the lucky one who takes home a piece of history and makes new memories in a vintage car.
