Water Vessels

Water, H2O, is an essential for life. Our bodies need water. We use water in many ways as well in our daily lives. Washing ourselves and our clothing. For recreational activities.

In production or manufacturing. Growing food. Because of the need for water, MCC has a number of water related projects around the world. You can help them this year, 2024, by bidding on some water vessels on the General Auction.

There is a 10 gallon blue striped covered crock. This large crock has a working spigot for dispensing liquids. The lid does have a couple of chips, but who doesn’t at that age.

Otherwise it appears to be in very good condition. It stands 20 inches tall.

A 2 gallon handled jug is also available at auction. It has a couple of blemishes. They could be from the manufacturing process.

Wash day was not an easy thing back in the day. Pumping and heating water was a necessity. There are 2 wash boilers on the General Auction. The galvanized one has its lid. The copper one does not have the lid. It is marked Revere.
