Polka Queen to Sing

No, you did not read that wrong. It does say Polka Queen. This year, for the first time, the Northern Michigan Relief Sale will have a bit of polka music. Friday night, before the featured group, Emily Bizon will be on stage. She really is a former Polka Queen. Emily is 13 years old and hails from the Grand Rapids area. She comes to us through family connections. John and Sally Longacre’s daughter Carmen married into this polka loving family. She will be singing some fun family oriented songs. It is not known at this time, but some family members may be helping her out as well. If you are looking for a change of pace be sure to be near the stage area between the Children’s Auction and the evening concert.
