New This Year

Changes can be good or even fun. At the Relief Sale it seems things tend to be the same from year to year. Small things change but often they are not really noticed. This year there will be a big, obvious change. It is something you will want to make sure you check out.

As you may have heard, there will not be a Ten Thousand Villages booth. They had a large space and offered a great variety of goods from around the world. Since they will not be here this year, something must fill that space. Well here it is. The Music Box. Live music will play in the space that was formerly Ten Thousand Villages.

The word is going out to the participating churches for local musicians to sign up to play for a short period of time. Acoustic instruments of all kinds are going to be featured. (No vocals) They will serenade the shoppers and listeners in the building throughout the day. Come in and for as long as you like. If you play a non-electric instrument, you will be able to sign up for a time slot to share your talent on site.

Make a point to come in and listen to people using their talents to praise God.
