Kits for Ukraine

With the war in Ukraine in the forefront of our minds as we plan for this 2022 Northern Michigan Relief Sale, we think of the kits MCC sends around the world. You may ask “What is a kit?”  Each kit is a collection of specific items that are usually placed in a drawstring bag. There are several different kits that MCC assembles. We will be focusing School Kits, Hygiene Kits, Relief Kits, and Infant Care Kits. These are the kits that MCC is sending to Ukraine.

As in the past few years, Kids World will be assembling School Kits in the Old School House. These have notebooks, pencils, pens, colored pencils, eraser, and pencil sharpener. Children will be invited to help put these kits together at some point on Saturday.

In addition they will be accepting supplies for the other kits at the Old School House.  Only the listed items are placed in each kit. Contents of each kit are listed below. You do not need to bring all items for a kit. Whatever is donated will be assembled into a kit later. Extra items will be delivered to MCC to help supply their kits. Thank you for your generosity to people in need through MCC.
