Is It Really Summer ?

Can you believe that it is past the middle of June already? With the weather just warming up it really begins to feel like summer. Of course that makes a body think about summer activities. And that leads one to think about the Northern Michigan  Relief Sale doesn’t it? It should. Maybe it should also get us into high gear. Have you finished up all your projects? The last stitch, the final nail, the finishing touch. If not, be warned, time is going to go fast from now until August. Dedicate yourself to finishing ( or possibly even starting ) that special something for the Relief Sale. I’m not talented that way you say. I can’t make anything. Well….. Do you have things you need to get out of your house? They could be donated to the Garage Sale or Auction. Piles of books that you have already read taking over your living space? The Used Books booth would love to have them. Can you bake something yummy? Plan now to tempt us at the Baked Goods area. Want to buy a beautiful handcrafted quilt? Save up for that purchase starting now. Do you have some time to spare that first week of August? There are a multitude of places to give of you time and willing hands that week. Sign up for a time slot at your favorite booth for Friday or Saturday. Or just show up at the fairgrounds any day of that week and I’m sure someone will assist you in finding a place to help out. Many hands and many hours go into making the Northern Michigan Relief Sale a success. See you at the sale. ( Or maybe before)
