Great Blue Heron

Have you seen a Great Blue Heron in the wild? They are a striking bird. A tall blue-gray bird that often seems like a statue because they stand very still.

Bird lovers take note. We have a Great Blue Heron carving that will be on the General Auction. At 37 inches tall it is slightly smaller that real life. It is a “close to real life” beauty. The base is an interesting piece of wood, possibly driftwood. The artist of this piece is Mike Sarnes. There is a signature plate on the bottom of the sculpture. What a nice way to bring a part of nature into your home.
