Classic Car Collection
One of the biggest demographics in the USA is the generation known as Baby Boomers. This large portion of the population, born after the end of WWII, became old enough to drive cars, or long to drive cars, in the 1960’s. US automobile manufacturers expanded their lineups beyond the standard size sedans and coupes that were the automotive mainstay for decades. Mid-size Cars, Compact Cars, Pony Cars, and Muscle Cars are terms invented to describe these new vehicles.
We have received a donation of a collection of 12 Franklin Mint model cars, with display case, that shows some of the most notable cars of the 1960’s. This collection will be on display Friday evening, and sold at the General Auction.
