Blessing Bids 2021 | Northern Michigan Relief Sale

It’s time to find out about the Blessing Bids for this year. First of all, what are Blessing Bids? They are donations to MCC projects that are taken during the Auction. In the morning and afternoon, the Auction halts for Blessing Bids. It is run like an Auction, but more than one person can be the donor for each item. You bless others by giving to MCC. You can also contribute at any time at the cashier’s window.

These projects have been chosen for this year.

$30 provides items for 10 hygiene kits (soap, toothbrush, comb, towel ,nail clipper)
$60 provides items for 10 school kits ( notebooks, pencils and sharpener, pens, ruler, eraser, colored pencils)
$100 provides items for 10 dignity kits ( similar to the hygiene kit with young women’s needs in mind)
$150 pays for shipping
14 bids of $100 to construct one well for a school in Nicaragua (safe water is unavailable currently)
$130 provides a carbon water filter for one school
$30 to help cover the cost for materials and teacher training for schools for blind and deaf children in Jordan ( these students are both blind and deaf and need special teaching methods and materials)
$25 goes toward the cost of a teaching garden and supplies in Haiti (with this education students can learn to grow food for their family)
$45 Buys a school uniform and shoes for five children in Democratic Republic of Congo (these students have fled their homes and need these to be able to attend school )
$25 to be used where most needed ( MCC responds quickly to disasters or crisis around the world)

Come prepared to help those in need through participating in the Blessing Bids. MCC relies on your generosity to carry out their projects around the world.
