Blessing Bids 2020

Some of you may have been wondering where are the Blessing Bids. What happened to them? In this year of new and different ways of operating, the Blessing Bids are no exception. We are still able to have Blessing Bids, but it is different. In order to have all funds raised go to MCC we can’t do them on the auction site. They are on the MCC webpage. I’ll give you the address later, or you can get the link from our Facebook page.

There are three options this year. Not surprising, they all relate to  Covid-19. The entire world has felt the effects of this virus. As you can imagine, the supplies and help we can easily get other parts of the world cannot. We can bless them with better health through these bids.

#1- Covid-19 Hygiene Kits   $20  This kit is designed to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in vulnerable communities. It will provide hand soap, laundry detergent, disinfectant or bleach, and a bucket. We take these things for granted, It is hard to conceive of a place where such basics are hard to come by. Your donation will help.

#2 Covid-19 Emergency Food  $40   This gift will use existing distribution centers to make food available to vulnerable households. In some parts of the world there are no stores nearby. Travel, especially for someone who is ill, is difficult. Handwashing stations will also be set up for these centers. This donation will feed hungry people.

#3 Personal Protection Equipment   $10   We have heard much about PPE lately. You have probably heard how hard it has been to find. What if you were in a country that doesn’t try to help procure the necessary supplies? This blessing bid will provide protection for front line workers in such places. Your gift could save lives.
