Bible and Trunk

As families age and change, things get left to the surviving heirs. Sometimes these once precious possessions are passed on to the Northern Michigan Relief Sale. That is not because they have no value, sentimental or real, but because there is no room or no family member left able to keep them. We have a couple of items for 2018 that fall into this category. At the general auction will be a trunk in good condition. It probably dates from the 1930’s when the owner was attending nursing school in Colorado. It shows some wear but is sturdy and is not musty as they sometimes get.
The other item is a family Bible. This is not quite as old. The publication date appears to be 1955. It is also in good condition. No notes or family records are written in the book.
It can be sad when family things are let go. But they can also begin to make new memories with a new family. If you are interested in either a trunk or a Bible, make sure you come to the sale in August.
