Abello Family Band

You can start getting excited about the 2023 Northern Michigan Relief Sale now! I have a reason for that statement. We have a fun and talented music group coming for the Friday night concert. They are the Abello Family Band sometimes called Figuring It Out Bluegrass. Their home base is Bemidji, Minnesota. But they have played around the area and even in Branson Missouri.

The group consists of the father of the family and seven of the eleven children. Some are just too small to be involved. They play a number of acoustic instruments. Listed on their website are: fiddle, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, guitar, piano, upright bass, and cello. Several of the band switch off on some of the instruments. They also do vocals. Bluegrass is in their name but they do a vary their style. Again they list: Bluegrass (of course), Traditional Folk, Contemporary, Celtic, and Swing.  The venues they have performed in are as varied as the group. They have visited benefits, churches, theaters, contests, festivals, and parties.
