June Already ?

Is it really June already? Where did the time go? It hasn’t really seemed like it is that time of year to me. But the calendar is right in front of me telling it is true. So….. You know what that means! Time to get plans in gear for the Northern Michigan Relief Sale. August will come on us just as fast as June did. (Or maybe even faster)

Here’s what you can do now to prepare. Set aside the first weekend in August to enable you to attend the sale. Better still, set aside that whole week so you can help with all the pre-sale preparations. There is always much to do that week. Then get out your needles, saws, recipes, etc. and make something that can be sold or auctioned. Search your house and find any books or garage sale items you have that can be donated to those sales. Or get out that item you made this past winter.  And of course start saving your money so you are ready to purchase that special item that you see when you come to the sale. Remember, everything you do for the sale helps those less fortunate than you. You can be a blessing to someone else.

 

Your participation is requested as we begin to look forward to August. There are so many ways to become involved. If you’re not sure ask someone that you know has been involved in the past. I’m positive they will have some advice for you.
