Garage Sale Returns
Yes. The Garage Sale is on for this year. Many of you probably know that it was questionable if we would have a place to hold the Garage Sale this year. Options were explored, but for a while there was no good answer to the problem. But now we have a solution. We will be able to use some locally owned large canopies to house the sale. That means we will be able to be located closer to the other Friday events. Because of the openness of such a set up we are hoping for dry weather just prior to the sale day (Friday). Again this year the items at the Garage Sale will be for sale on a donation basis. All proceeds go to help relieve world suffering. Donations of items for the sale will be welcomed starting in early July. We need time to get our garage cleaned out as we were not really planning on using it to hold donations for the sale until this week. So hold on to your items for donation for a little longer, please.
If you have been to the Garage Sale before you know the general size and multitude of interesting finds that can be there. If you have never come to the Garage Sale consider giving it a try this year. Thousands, and I do mean thousands, of items of all sorts will be sitting there waiting for just the right person to notice them. It always surprises me how many different things people are willing to donate to the sale. Almost anything you are looking for can and most likely will show up. There will be dishes, kitchen tools, linens, jigsaw puzzles, games, holiday decorations (get your Christmas tree now), candles, vases, wall decor, knick knacks, garage related items, CD’s, videos, craft supplies, lamps, clocks, sports equipment, furniture, luggage, mirrors, picture frames, baskets, tins, silverware, antiques, and even the oddity that we’re not sure about. If I’ve left something out use your imagination. If you love a good search for just that certain something or have a hankering to go to a big Garage Sale come join us on August 3rd at 9:00.
