2021 Thank You

The 2021 Northern Michigan Relief Sale is now history. We say a great big thank you to God for a very good sale. We had moderate weather despite the predictions of rain. Temperatures were comfortable. Skies were partly sunny. The number of those attending may have been down a bit, but the final total was on a level with our last in-person sale in 2019.  The initial accounting shows about $157,000 raised. Of course the numbers change as more money and also bills sometimes come in later. This is great news for us and those who we help through MCC.

Since we were not sure what to expect this year, we are pleasantly surprised. But should we be? God always comes through. Some traditional events were missing in 2021. Despite this, the amount raised did not vary much. All monies from this sale will go to MCC to help people around the world. We may think things are not going well here, but we are in wonderful circumstances compared to many in this world. We are glad to be able to help provide relief for them.

We give thanks to God for the success of the sale. We also thank all those involved. Those who held up the sale in prayer, workers in many aspects of the sale, those who made or donated items, and buyers and bidders. All are necessary and appreciated. Thank you once again.

Come back and help us again in 2022. Always the first Saturday in August at the Oscoda County Fairgrounds.
