You Might Be A Relief Saler
Many of you are probably familiar with the “You Might Be A _________” joke. I thought about what could be said about those of us who are passionate about the Northern Michigan Relief Sale. Here are some thoughts along that line.
If the first Saturday in August is circled on your calendar, you might be a Relief Saler.
If mention of the Bean Soup Supper makes you nostalgic, you might be a Relief Saler.
If you know what 10,0000 Villages is, you might be a Relief Saler.
If you quilt all winter and donate your labors, you might be a Relief Saler.
If MCC means My Coins Count to you, you might be a Relief Saler.
If the map of the Oscoda County Fairgrounds is imprinted on your brain, you might be a Relief Sale.r
If Garage Sale items and Used Books pile up at your house until July, you might be a Relief Saler.
If you can’t wait for the Blessing Bids, you might be a Relief Saler.
If your family and school reunions always occur in early August, you might be a Relief Saler.
If Carl Dube is on your contact list, you might be a Relief Saler.
If you recognize yourself or your friends in the above statements, thanks for coming to the Northern Michigan Relief Sale. This MCC fund raising effort could not happen without you.
See you again the first Saturday in August.
