Make Lemonade

You’ve heard that expression: “When life hands you a lemon, make lemonade.” Perhaps you feel that you have been given a big basket of lemons these past few days. Restrictions on meeting together, don’t go out in public, disinfect everything, and the list grows daily. But this is a perfect time to make lemonade.  I don’t mean literally. (Lemons could be hard to find in the store right now). However, you could use this time of staying at home to work on projects for the Northern Michigan Relief Sale. August may seem a long way off. It is always surprising how fast it creeps up on us once summer gets here. While you have to keep to yourself, use your time to benefit others. If you are like most crafters, you have materials on hand to make a few or maybe many items that could be sold or auctioned at the Sale in August. We can redeem this time by becoming busy for a  good cause. We tend to use the excuse of not enough time. We have been given a gift in disguise. Time is only here today and gone tomorrow.Start making lemonade today!
