Many other wood furniture items are donated by local crafters including tables, chairs, rocking chairs, cedar chests, china cabinets, coffee tables, foot stools, cribs, crates and swings.
In addition to wood furniture, antiques, glass items and MCC collectibles are just some of the many items available for auction.

In addition to quilts, comforters, wall hangings, crib quilts and afghans are also auctioned.
The Quilt Auction is held at 11 a.m. and again at 1 p.m.
Things to keep in mind when selecting a quilt
When selecting a quilt, choose the size of quilt to give the desired look, based on mattress size, height of bed, inches of drop wanted, and pillow tuck if desired.
Example: 92 x 108″ quilt on Full, Queen, and King
Full mattress:
19″ drop on three sides with 14″ pillow tuck
Queen mattress:
16″ drop on three sides with 12″ pillow tuck
King mattress:
8″ drop on three sides. Use over floor-length skirt. Generous pillow tuck allows for more or larger pillows.
Approximate Quilt Sizes (mattress sizes in parentheses):
King 120 x 120″ (76×80)
Queen 90 x 108″ (60×80)
Full 81 x 96″ (54×75)
Twin 72 x 96″ (39×75)
General Information
Comforters are usually heavy materials put together by knotting or very large stitches.
Quilts are usually made of lighter weight materials and quilted with very small stitches.
Quilts and comforters with Dacron and Polyester filler are usually washable. Articles made with Acrylic, Nylon, Wintuck or Sayelle yarn are machine washable. Wools are hand washable in cool water.
Quilts should not be stored in plastic as the plastic doesn’t allow them to breathe and they will turn yellow. Use an old pillowcase or sheet for storage.
