Afternoon Blessing Bids 2022

Blessing Bids are just that, a blessing to someone else. With a Blessing Bid you are donating to MCC the amount specified for a particular project. You don’t receive anything for placing a Blessing Bid except the joy of helping another human being live a better life. You can choose the project you wish to support. Blessing Bids happen during a break in the auction. You use your bidder number to make your bid. You are not bidding against other bidders. As many people as want to can bid on any item. Sometimes a higher priced item will be split between multiple bidders. You pay at the office later just as you would for any auction item. Donations for Blessing Bids can also be given to the office at any time without a bidding at the auction.

Here are the afternoon Blessing Bids:

God’s Garden Growing Everywhere $25 – MCC teaches people around the world about nutrition and gardening in order to feed their families. Youth clubs learn about planting, watering, fertilizer, seeds, health and hygiene. This bid helps pay the cost of this program.

Shipping Fees $300 – MCC has costs involved in shipping kits and other materials to their destination. Fees and paperwork are needed on both ends. MCC has already shipped 5 containers of kits and canned meat.

World-Wide Water $4,000  – This is the average amount per well. Clean water is scarce in many areas. We forget that living in Michigan. A hand dug well of about 65 feet can provide water in many locations. This donation pays for piping, supplies, and a hand operated pump.

Emergency Relief Where Needed Most  $25 – MCC needs to be able to respond quickly to a disaster or  crisis. This means having ready cash so they can buy or ship needed supplies. This supports long term recovery and rebuilding efforts.
