2023 Preliminary Results | Northern Michigan Relief Sale

The Northern Michigan Relief Sale is over for 2023. For some that brings a big sigh of thanks. Some may wish they could participate again this next weekend. However you feel, we will see you again next August. Plan on the 2nd and 3rd of August in 2024 to do this all over again.

Thank you to everyone who had a part in the sale. That includes workers, organizers, guests and customers. If you fit into more than one category great.

As our Sale Director says Great is HIS Faithfulness. God provided us with a beautiful weekend after a little hitch with wind and rain that collapsed canopies earlier in the week. Pleasant temperatures made for an enjoyable atmosphere. People to do the work and people to buy the products were sent by God as well.

So are you curious as to how much we can help MCC help those in need? Well I have preliminary results from the Northern Michigan Relief Sale. Numbers may change a little as more donations are yet to come in as well as a few expenses. But here are the initial dollar amounts:

General Auction – $19,388
Quilts – $60,432 the Lone Star quilt had the highest bid of $4,600
Blessing Bids – $26,000
Booths – $77,000
Silent Auction – $5,100
Grand Total – $187,920

We can surely bless many people in the name of Jesus with that amount of money. Thanks again to all those behind the scenes and in front of the public who helped us do this wonderful thing. We will never know how much we helped and how many lives we have changed for the better, but God knows. We do it for Him not for the acclaim of people.
